Checking out Japan

This kind of freaked me out. A fish just out of water, cut up, to cut, still alive. Its a pity i missed the gills going mental before that!

On Sunday, I decided to get off my arse and do something…
I remembered reading about the new, first H&M shop in Japan. There were hour long queues because of of the hipe about the place. That was in September, ah surely November the hipe will of calmed! Ha! No! Its was only 5 minute queue, but it was still the only and last time i queue to get into a clothes shop….
In the place was mental, Ive been to way quieter nightclubs! Its was mental. My first mistake was going upstairs… Thats where all the women stuff is! Mental, just Mental.
The best place to have a breather was in the basement with the lads clothes. I actually have a square meter of room to myself for the first time since i entered the madness of this shop. After careful consideration i decided to split. 10 fighting for my life minutes later i escaped….
I can see myself returning, but never to queue. Some Tuesday or Wednesday after work i hope will be quiet. I dont like shopping in a mosh pit!

The day started like any other day. I woke up at the usual time, etc. Except something was different. Ohh yeah, that it…. I was drinking the night before and i havent gotten that much sleep.
Its not nighttime, and this morning seems so so so long ago. What a long day! There was japanese lessons in the morning. I did a presentation to the newbies in the afternoon, a short meeting with my boss after and i was off to ginza on a date. I had dressed up for it was well, i made the effort. However arriving in ginza i was still in bits.
The reason i write this done now, is because i fear i will forget.
So ginza, date, It was good - Thanks for asking. I went tired and hungover, and i have come back drunk and energetic, hence the post @ 12:35AM!
And finally just to add to the random of the day - i meet two American FJ people in the station on the way home. One of them is going to france tomorrow. It doesnt get everyday crazier than this……..

I honestly woke up this morning thinking its my birthday, so what?? I had 6 people say Happy Birthday today , One extra ration of (team presents) chocolates, One Japanese Cooking Book, One Moving Card, One Transformers Action figure, A Birthday Cake with 24 candles, and Rain - Lovely Rain. Its was the light rain i adore, while wearing my suit cycling home with some alcohol!!! All in all the perfect birthday, thanks to everyone, esp. Shin who made it happen!
……….
Then I come home! And whats waiting for me - A package from Ireland! i have still to open it. i thought to get my mind down on the computer first!
I’m off to open some packages now!
